1 lb smoked Polish sausage sliced 1/4" thick
1 cup rice long grain
1/2 lg onion chopped
1/2 bell pepper chopped
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
Brown sausage, onion & pepper. Add rice & saute till golden. Add remaining ingredients, mix well, cover & simmer over low heat till liquid is absorbed and rice is done. Stir occasionally. If liquid is gone before rice is done, add a little more water.
Serving Ideas: Serves 6 as a side dish.
